Sketch Comedy Is Fun

Sketch comedy has a tradition of providing audiences with sustained laughter and a unique look at the human condition. With a combination of schtick, satire and good old fashioned humor, sketch comedy provides plenty of topical bang for your buck.

Saturday Night Live, MadTV and many other television shows have taken this art form to mass audiences. Often these shows have to adhere to standards and practices appropriate for the network they are on, or they have to limit their content based on concern for advertisers sensibilities. This sometimes limits the scope of satire that can be used for financial reasons. Live sketch comedy is a true haven for the generation and display of political ideas and debate. Enjoy satire in its purist form.
